Mantis Maintenance

(MOBILE USERS: PLEASE CLICK THE LITTLE “+” ICON IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER TO SEE THE REST OF THE STARTUP GUIDE!)

Here are a couple things to keep up with to make sure your Mantis continues running smoothly:

  1. Use high quality filament to avoid extruder jams - we recommend using OVERTURE which can be purchased on Amazon

  2. Empty the purge bucket after every print

  3. Keep your printer free and clear of any excess filament or debris and change your build sheet when prints no longer stick

See various sections on the left, or click the “+” icon if you are on a mobile device.

Setting up your Cura Profile

Cura is a useful 3D File Prep software that is available for free. It can help you scale 3D models, prepare batches of 3D Prints, layout multiple objects to print at the same time, slice files, generate G-Code, and much more. Follow our team member Dave, as he walks you through the process of setting up your Cura profile.

Taking Files from Cura to the Mantis

Now that you have set up your Mantis 3D Printer profile you can take those files and start printing! Follow our team member Dave, as he walks you through the process.
