Device & System Requirements

The Mantis 3D Printer has all the software it needs pre-installed! To print, you simply connect to the 3D Printer’s wifi network from your favorite Smart Device.

Almost any Smart Device with a web browser can be used!

• Recommended smart devices include: Modern iPhones, Android Phones, Tablets, Laptops, and Desktop computers

• Recommended Web Browsers: Safari, Chrome, Firefox

There is technically no “minimum processor requirement” as long as your device has a compatible internet browser. Some users have experienced slow performance and other processor related issues when using Chromebooks, and other low processing power devices.

If this happens, please try clearing the cache of your internet browser! Another solution is to access your Mantis 3D Printer in “Incognito” or “Private” mode from your internet browser.

Note for Expert & Advanced Users Only: For specialized and/or advanced applications that require custom G-code injection, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer
