“Our 3D Printing Research Group at Widener University is working toward enhancing additive manufacturing capabilities in both polymer and metal 3D printing field. As a part of this effort, we are housing a Mantis 3D printer in our laboratory, where undergraduate and graduate students use for their courses, projects, and research activities.

Our main reason for choosing Mantis 3D Printer is its versatility in design and ease of use. Students have been able to print their parts through a wireless connection from anywhere in our lab with minimal to no training. At the same, the open design allows our researchers to modify the printer to achieve desired specific goals.

“First off, this is by far my most favorite printer I have owned. I have owned an Ender 3 pro, A Lottmaxx Shark, A Creality CP-01, some Longer Orange resin printers, a Creality Cr6-Se (I still own one of them.), and I have an ender 6 (I just bought but now waiting so I can get that put together). The Mantis is the one I turn to. Ask Dave! He gets bothered by me all the time. It is a great machine. The things I have printed have been fun. You have seen them and even liked a few of them.
